Introduction to Evaluation
An introductory workshop focusing on building the knowledge necessary to participate in an evaluation, beginning with defining basic terms and introducing key concepts.
This workshop focuses on building the knowledge necessary to participate in an evaluation, beginning with defining basic terms and introducing key concepts (e.g. qualitative vs. quantitative, assessment instruments, etc.). Once the group is familiar with the language and concepts, there will be a brief review of why evaluation is important.
At the end of this workshop, participants will feel that they have a clear understanding of the language and concepts and will be able to follow along in the second workshop, or be able to follow a conversation about evaluation in their own professional context.
